The Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers (IACT) is a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status, representing a community of over 700 members. Its membership includes treasurers from leading Irish public companies, multinationals, commercial state bodies, and a wide range of small and medium-sized enterprises. The Association’s mission is to promote and advance the study and practice of treasury management in Ireland, establish standards of best practice, and provide a forum where both experienced professionals and those beginning their treasury careers can connect, share knowledge, and engage with peers and service providers.
Our objectives:
Build and strengthen relationships within the treasury community across Ireland, fostering collaboration and mutual support.
Promote the treasury profession, highlighting its importance both to individual treasurers and in shaping wider recognition of the profession’s value and strategic role.
Support the professional development of treasurers by encouraging knowledge sharing, providing access to training, promoting treasury qualifications, offering career support, and creating opportunities to network and celebrate professional achievements.
Enhance the impact of treasury practice by helping treasurers reduce financial risks, add value to their organisations, and fulfil their responsibilities effectively.
Raise the profile of the treasury profession through the organisation of networking events, talks, and initiatives that showcase its contribution to business and the economy.
